About the QbTest® ADHD Assessment

Our clinic uses the QbTest®, an FDA-cleared, evidence-based ADHD assessment tool that objectively measures:

  • Attention

  • Impulsivity

  • Hyperactivity

  • Motor activity

The QbTest combines computer-based performance tasks with motion-tracking technology to provide a quantitative, unbiased picture of your symptoms. This allows us to compare your results to individuals of the same age and gender, improving diagnostic accuracy.

Why We Use QbTest®

Traditional ADHD evaluations rely heavily on interviews, observation, and questionnaires. While those are important, they can sometimes be subjective. The QbTest adds objective data to your evaluation so we can see how your brain is functioning in real time.

This type of testing helps us:
✓ Distinguish ADHD from anxiety or other conditions
✓ Determine whether symptoms are mild, moderate, or severe
✓ Create a personalized treatment plan
✓ Track your progress over time
✓ Evaluate how well medication is working (if chosen)

Medication & Treatment Guidance

Your results help guide your overall care plan. Treatment may include:

  • Lifestyle and behavioral strategies

  • Functional-medicine approaches to sleep, gut health, stress, and inflammation

  • Non-stimulant options when appropriate

  • Stimulant medication when clinically indicated and safe

  • Follow-up QbTesting to monitor how treatment is working

Stimulant medication is never the first step — our focus is accurate diagnosis, whole-person wellness, and providing options that support your goals.
