Empathy Wellness Center in collaboration with Maternal Village Empathy Wellness Center is excited to announce our upcoming Youth Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) in partnership with our sister company, Maternal Village. This program will serve children and adolescents ages 8–17 who need more support than traditional outpatient therapy but do not require inpatient care. Our Youth IOP will offer: Individual, group, and family therapy Psychiatric medication management Evidence-based interventions for anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, and more Skill-building, coping strategies, and peer connection Psychoeducation for youth and caregivers Collaboration with schools and community providers Programming will be delivered after school, Monday through Friday from 3:45 pm to 6:45 pm, with 9–19 hours of therapeutic care per week in a welcoming, non-residential setting. Our team — including licensed therapists, a clinical director, and QMHP-Cs — will provide high-quality, compassionate care with an emphasis on holistic healing. Parents and guardians will be encouraged to participate in family sessions to promote positive growth and change. Please note: This program is not yet accepting patients as we are currently finalizing licensing and approval through the Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services (DBHDS).
